Free & Open Memorial for our fallen Warband warriors
There is a dedicated Facebook page for remembering our friends - CLICK TO VISIT
Hail and Welcome!
This page is dedicated to all the fallen Warband Warriors, Wizards, Witches and Knights who have passed over to the Summerlands.
Free & Open means EVERYONE is welcome to join and post pictures and share their memories of these people who touched our lives. The Loyal Arthurian Warband is a vast network of people, we have many Orders and Groves ceded to us - so this group also honours those people too.
This is not a group to platform your politics though, so please be respectful and if you cannot say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Free & Open means we aren't being selective about whom joins but anyone causing trouble will have their posts deleted, be warned and ultimately banned from the group if they cannot behave in a respectful manner.
If you have lots of pictures to share, please create an album with that person's name. These are YOUR memories and they are precious. Memories keep the person who has gone, alive in our hearts. This will compliment the page on the Warband website too.
Yours in The Heat of Battle

Dearest Donna.....
The Glastonbury Order of Druids regretfully has to announce the sad passing of our co-administrator and dearest friend, on Monday 24th of August 2015, due to cardiac arrest brought on by previous medical negligence.
in 1993, Donna and I met on a trip to Stonehenge at the autumn equinox. and shortly after, knew that we were meant to be together. Quickly, she became our Acting Arch-druidess of Glastonbury and Stonehenge, and then in 2012, after a metonic cycle (19 years) of public service, attending and stewarding and presiding at both solstices and equinoxes on a regular basis, she became officially the first woman senior Arch-druidess of Stonehenge in 1500 years, (or longer).
She was also a gifted photographer, and mother of Dan, 27, Sam, 25, and our Eleanor, 19. She is my best friend and the love of my life, and I have been deeply honoured to know someone who makes me so happy. The
funeral will be by prior arrangement for family and friends only.

Many of Donna's pictures are on this website and she was a valued friend and supporter. We all gathered at Stonehenge for the Autumn Equinox to honour her and for Rollo and her daughter Ellie to scatter her ashes in centre circle. It was a spectacularly clear and starry night, which lead to a picture perfect sunrise.
Hail and Farewell Donna, you will be deeply missed by many /|\
