Warband Calendar Competition
We are collating a calendar for 2013 and need your help selecting twelve images, submitted by friends of the Warband. As it's a Warband calendar, it would be remiss of us not to share what our world is about. So if you have an image that depicts what the Warband is about - ceremony, protest, people... that kind of thing, then please submit a copy to:
The legal bit
Something for all of the entrants to consider.
As all photographs used in the calendar will be subject to publishing and copyright legislation (since the final product will be sold at a profit to raise funds), all photographs submitted should be:
1. Authentic, that is you personally own the copyright because it is an image you made and the exif data on the digital file submitted should reflect image ownership/authorship.
2. Any person, or person's likeness contained in any submitted image should only be published with the permission of the person being photographed. This is especially important in the cases of persons under 18 years of age where written permission is required from their parent/legal guardian.
3. Quality. All photographs submitted should be of a resolution of 300dpi or higher to cope with being printed without losing any quality.
And lastly, all photographs should be natural images untampered with by photo editing software save for any small contrast/brightness/colour temp/image size/resolution quality adjustment as would be normally carried out in dark room print processing.
Good luck everyone.
