Arrested and charged with :-Possession of a bladed weapon, Aggravated trespass and Obstruction Prior to his arrest King Arthur was seen to raise two Quest Knights and a Warrior Priestess. One of the recently raised Knights, Sir Piglet of Palace, bore the Royal Standard on this occasion, and was arrested along with his King and the Minstrel and Quest Knight, Pok of the Space Goats. It was thought too difficult to field the other Quest Knight in Battle, Greg Sams, as they had already negotiated one fence and his Wheelchair would have made the second impossible, this was a purely token gesture by Arthur, Piglet and Pok, as Bard, Ovate and Druid. Also present from the Warband and Worthy of Note were Susanna Lafond, Faery Queen, Trooper, Quest Knight and the newly raised Warrior priestess Wheller amongst others. Greg Sams being the newly raised Quest Knight, complete with his own chariot. 6th.London Bromley Magistrates court, refused to accept bail conditions and was remanded in HM Prison Highdown. 7th.HM Prison As usual, and contrary to Home Office procedure (remand prisoners are allowed to wear their own clothing), Arthur once again finds himself naked in protest (on the block), in segregation in a category A prison (most secure). For these reasons he decided to make his stand with the warriors and fight for better bail conditions. Whilst remanded in custody he failed to attend two important meetings:- Truth and reconciliation for Stonehenge which was covered by Dragon cLAW. The Quarterly meeting of CoBDO, hosted by the Esher News and Mail on behalf of LAW where several of the Archdruid/ess's present were and are members of LAW. 12th.London Bromley Magistrates Court, aggravated trespass charge dropped, bailed without residence order or proposed requirement to sign on at a Police station twice daily. 17th Wiltshire Meeting with English Heritage, Wiltshire Constabulary, National Trust and other interested parties. King Arthur storms out in justifiable rage, or storms off in a huff. 20th Avebury Presides over the Free Gorsedd of Caer Abiri along with Rollo. 21st Stonehenge and London VERNAL EQUINOX Accompanied by Hengist (A & M), The Orc and two Druids from OBOD on the public highway by the Hele stone in protest at the exclusion of the general public at the Summer Solstice. Also present was the Chronicler Andy (Brock), duly raised as Quest Knight, Witnessed by two Battle Chieftains LAW. Midday, CoBDO celebration, Primrose Hill. Evening, King Arthur and a group of Druids and Witches availed themselves of the hospitality of a valued friend and member of the Stonehenge campaign, where a Warrior priestess and a Faery Queen, Lady of the Lake along with a couple of Brother Knights were duly raised 22nd. London Accompanies the legendary Steve Andrews, Bard of Ely, and Quest Knight (LAW), to a gig in the 12 Bars Club, receiving rapturous applause and chants of "There's only one King Arthur”. A Good night was had by all and the King at one point was seen to go on stage, take the microphone and declare "It's official, the King's a Pisshead, I've just drunk them out of Cider". (as he had at the Southern Area PF Conference. 31st.London Bromley Magistrates Court, entered a plea of not guilty to carrying a bladed weapon in a public place and was bailed to reappear before the court on 26th.May to be listed for a date at Crown Court.
